A quaint little inn will have you comfortable before you know it! Be sure to stop by the Tavern for a pint of Guinness and a Baileys ice cream Sunday, and don't forget to buy Murray a beer! 5 stars A++

It's a real shame the owner doesn't invest more into this place. The grounds are beautiful and it has everything there to be a great experience..... The problem is obvious.... The owner thinks this is his own private pub and the people that stay are simply a means to keep his private pub going. The rooms are not maintained, the decking is dangerous, the WiFi is non existant, there is a lack of staffing and the looped music in the restaurant/pub is so annoying and repetitive that I wanted to avoid going in there altogether...... It's non stop and it's the same songs/unknown singer all day and night. Food was good, even though a little overpriced.

Fabulous spot, especially if you love NZ. natural bird life. Lovely gardens. The bar has beautiful food, sticky date pudding is to die for. Patrons are wonderful people, such good company. Great big fire in the restaurant. We will definitely be back.
